Treeboy was the first Black and Tan Coonhound to capture the coveted Best in Show award. His first BIS came at the Dan Emmett Kennel Club show held in Ohio followed by two other BIS wins. Out of 137 times shown he was defeated only twice. Treeboy was Best of Breed 4 consecutive years at Westminster Kennel Club (1973, 1974, 1975, and 1976). Whelped in Toronto, Ontario, Canada by Clare and Donna Lewis, he was the son of noted sire Ch. St. John's Jubia. Treeboy, himself proved to be a most preponent sire producing among his most noted offspring two Best in Show winners, Am/Can Ch. Becrelen's Pact of Stoneyhill, first American Bred BIS coonhound and Am/Can Ch. Codach's Lyrical Melody, first BIS coonhound bitch.
