Ch. Designer Enterprise began his career by winning Best of Breed at the 1996 National Specialty at the young age of 2 years. Despite suffering a setback with a major injury that kept him out of competition for 5 months, Riker went on to win the 1997 Pedigree Award for the most Black & Tan Coonhounds defeated setting a new record of 303 dogs defeated. Riker was initially shown by his breeder/owner and then campaigned as a special with his sire’s owner, Neal Emmons. Presently Riker has sired 6 litters resulting in multiple group performers, including having the distinction of being the sire of the breed’s top winning B & T Coonhound, Ch. Southchase’s Warrior Princess a 25 time Best in Show winner. Truly, his greatest achievement, however, has been that of best friend and devoted companion to his “MOM”, Dr. Katherine Settle. |
