Ch. WyEast Wild Goose Chase gained notoriety as a multiple Hound Group Winner with 10 career Hound Group firsts. Cooper accumulated a total of 52 group placements during his show career ranking him among the top ten Black and Tan Coonhounds in total dogs defeated for the years 1945 through 1995. He also was awarded Best of Breed at the American Black and Tan Coonhound Club Regional Specialty in August 1986. Cooper was campaigned throughout his career by his owner and constant companion, Dana Diemer.
