Ch. CSG Clover Creek Tyrone, CD, RE, NJP was the result of crossing Hall of Fame member and National Specialty winner Ch. Designer Southern Enterprise with Regional Specialty Winner and eventual Dam of Merit Ch. CSG Highflyer Sugar Magnolia. Tyrone was a litter of one, and proved from the start that he was one of a kind!
Tyrone was Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the 2002 National Specialty in Charlotte, NC, on his way to completing his Championship that year. He was Group Placed at the Hoosier KC Show in 2004, and had over 25 lifetime Best of Breed wins. Tyrone also passed his AKC Canine Good Citizen certification.
Tyrone finished his AKC Coonhound Bench Show Supreme Grand Championship (CSG) in 2005, with three Bench Show Best In Show wins. He participated in Treeing Contests, Water Races, and Coonhound Field Trials, while attending the bench shows.
Initially shown in Rally Obedience for a fun diversion, Tyrone rapidly made his way through Rally Novice, Rally Advanced, and Rally Excellent, with many placements in open competition. He received qualifying scores every time he entered the ring on the way to his Rally Excellent title.
2007 National Specialty Chair Edith Atchley challenged Tyrone to try the more formal version of standard Obedience competition, and he rose to the challenge by acquiring 3 qualifying scores in three tries at open competitions, capping this off by going High In Trial at the 2007 ABTCC National Specialty under judge Kent Delaney.With a little practice, Tyrone was soon showing in Agility competition, and finished his Novice Agility Jumpers Preferred title in January 2008 at age 7.
He has been loved by his family, Karen Winn and Joe Carr, and has entertained many guests at their Lexington, Kentucky farm with his persistent tennis ball retrieval and many comical habits.
