Booker, who was known at the time as Cooter, started his show career in the state of his birth, North Carolina. He was shown there, only a handful of times, by co-breeder Alan Willard. At 12 months of age he was sent to California to live with Zoe Bolin, his new co-owner, where his show career took off. Booker finished his champion title in two weekends with 4 majors, 3 of which came during the National Specialty weekend. Career Highlights:
Booker retired at the 2018 AKC/Royal Canin National Championship, earning Select Dog honors. Booker absolutely loved the show ring. He was shown throughout his career by owner/handler Zoe Bolin and professional handler Oscar Quiros. Booker was a delight to show and garnered fans all across the country. Booker has now moved back to his home in North Carolina for his retirement where he is loved by Cindy and Olsie Owens. He will continue to stay busy by embarking on a new career in performance events with his new friend, Laura Gregory. |
